Monday’s Mission: Make Time for God
I love when a Sunday morning sermon speaks straight to my heart, and this was just the case yesterday. While preaching on ‘How to Get Back to Where You Once Were’ (regarding our relationship with God and the fire we have for him in the beginning of our relationship with him), Pastor Steve said this, “The most important time you spend working on being a great Mother, Father, Wife, Husband, is when you are away from your family and spending one-on-one time with God”. Aha! Why have I never thought of this. He explained that we will never have more time nor will there ever be more than 24 hours in a day. It is up to us to make time.
With that being said, this Monday’s Mission is this…
I will dedicate 30 minutes of my very hectic days to spending devotional time with God. My goal is to wake up 30 minutes early each morning, when the house is still quiet and praise Him.
So proud of for allowing God to be a part of your life. He can sure help you through each day. I love our Lord and I also try to make time for him each day when driving to work I like to talk to him.
