Life: A Summary…
I am originally a small town girl itsy-bitsy-tiny town girl, but have been recently converted. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart and after years of honing in on our parenting skills at the expense of our furbabies, Pudge & Lilly, we beamingly welcomed our first child, Harper Reese Barnett, on January 15, 2010, six weeks earlier than anticipated. Her arrival was surprising, exhilerating, and somehow my saddest and most joyful day all at the same time. She is my miracle baby and she is a FIRECRACKER! Harper is almost 17months old now (Ahhhh, where has the time gone) and shows absolutely no signs of her original struggle for life. As I remind her daily, she is one tough cookie!
Our lives our amazingly ordinary. Wake at 6:00am (sometimes closer to 6:30). Work at 8:00am. Pick up Baby by 5:30pm. Home by 6:00pm (if there is no traffic…sometimes I question this whole itsy-bitsy-tiny town girl to big city girl conversion). Then dinner. Play. Bath. Prayer. Nigh-night. Somewhere in there I find time for laundry, sweeping, mopping, dishes, doctor appointments, my shower…sometimes. And I’m okay with that.
Tessa, I so love that you've jumped on the blogging bandwagon! Be forewarned– it's addicting 🙂
